You are my Jehovah Jireh!
The Lord, my God, my soul provider!
You see my needs before they come!
You fill my cup to over run!
All I need, You freely give!
You are all I need to live!
You are my Jehovah Jireh!
The Lord, my God, my soul provider!
You see my needs before they come!
You fill my cup to over run!
All I need, You freely give!
You are all I need to live!
Christ-like and Christ aren’t the same.
Godly is not a substitute for God.
My brain knows this, yet somehow I keep
Forgetting to remind my heart.
I look up to people who reflect God,
Try to be like them,
Try to imitate them,
But am I looking at God?
Oh, Lord, I’m blessed to speak with you,
To raise my voice to you at all!
You see me humbled, weak, and small.
I’m lost, not knowing what to do,
And even though my words are few,
You hear my plea, my desperate call,
My cry for strength, my burdened fall.
You smile down. You see your cue.
